
Tara wanted to build out a lifestyle-focused landing page and personalized hair care quiz with upselling capabilities and user data capture.

Project Goals
Implement a conversion-optimized design that improved user engagement and product sales.
Designs were to be web and mobile responsive, and cohesively blend with their existing website UI.


UX Design
Form Completion
While working within Tara’s existing design system and a quick turnaround timeline, I created a quiz that used microfeedback to keep the user moving through the flow. A progress bar with personalized notes such as “You’re doing great!” and “Almost done!” encouraged users to complete the quiz. A simplified progress bar was also added to mobile, which did not exist in the original version of the quiz.


Data Capture
A user’s results were gated behind an email form - prompting users to enter their contact information and sign up for Tara’s newsletter which would allow future email campaign targeting. Results were displayed in a visually appealing way and featured CTA’s for users to make a purchase or add all the suggested items to their cart.
Stylesheet
Mobile and web tylesheets were also provided as part of the deliverable.
